Using linear regression analysis, a forecast of average medical claims per contract was created from data prior to the Health Solutions Ltd® program implementation. The forecast was then compared to the client's actual results after Health Solutions Ltd® program implementation as depicted in the graphs below.
Return on Investment is calculated by taking the difference between the forecasted and actual claims, multiplying by the average number of contracts, and dividing by Health Solutions total program cost.

Potential Savings
Metabolic risk factors are identified as participants complete their Health Risk Assessment. Using medical claim information provided by the client's insurance company, Health Solutions Ltd® was able to determine the average medical claim cost associated with the number of metabolic risk factors.

Additionally, Health Solutions Ltd® was able to demonstrate the potential savings for the client if each of their members was to eliminate 1 risk factor.

In this actual Health Solutions Ltd® client case study, the potential savings is the difference between the total paid claims of $5,665,012 in Fig. 1 and total paid claims of $5,001,270 in Fig. 2. In other works, if each member were to reduce their risk factor by 1, the client would save $663,742.
